Who is responsible for your data

What data we collect
When you contact us. Through the contact and booking forms we receive your name, email address and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, the service you are interested in, your preferred dates, links to your demos and your message. The same applies when you write to us by email or call us.
When you browse the site. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in server logs used to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies. The site uses technical cookies needed to work and, only with your consent, the cookies set by embedded Spotify players and YouTube videos. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To reply to your request and prepare a quote or a booking: this is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- If we work together, to carry out the work and meet our accounting and tax obligations (art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
- To keep the site secure: our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not use your data for marketing, we do not send newsletters, we do not profile you and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Is it required?
The fields marked as required in the forms are needed to answer you. Without them we cannot reply to your request.
How long we keep it
Requests that do not lead to a job are kept for as long as needed to follow them up, and in any case for no longer than 24 months. If we work together, contract and accounting data are kept for the period required by Italian law. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.
Who else sees it
Your data is handled by us and by the providers we need to run the site and our email: our hosting provider, Hostinger, which acts as a data processor and stores data in the European Union. We do not share your data with anyone else, except when the law requires it.
The site links to external services (Spotify, YouTube, Discogs, Pond5, Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps). When you open those links, or accept cookies and play an embedded Spotify player or YouTube video, the provider’s own privacy policy applies. YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Just write to info@studiovirus.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
